the birds have flown......

We all waved good-by to my Manly Man this morning and his friend and guardian angel (to keep my manly man awake!). I got a cute picture but couldn't get anything to post today. So, their off to Calif. to bring Western Washington their bee's! We've had so many orders that their having a friend bring another three hundred boxes back next week also.

We had a brief celebration last night for my hubby and his mother(who lives with us, they share a birthday along with two of our granddaughters). A few candles ,strawberry-rhubarb pie ..........

Our daughter-in-law was on her way to our granddaughter Cozette's birthday today when she got in an a car accident. Fortunatly everyone was unhurt, I guess she had to climb out the window which I still can't picture since she's seven months pregnant!  I'm just so relieved no one was hurt. The car is probley totaled , it was towed back to their town.  My daughter picked her up and brought her to her house for the party. All is well that ends well. . such blessinsgs.

  1. Heavenly Father was watching over your family! Whew! Love love love strawberry rhubarb pie! My rhubarb plant is peaking out of the soil after the long winter! I'm so thrilled as I thought it was history. This year I know it's going to do better than last as I'm going to cut off the bloom stalks as soon as I can recognize them. Can't wait to make some pies.
