simple pleasures

Last year for all the grandchildrens birthdays I made them a personalized
picture . I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it.Believe me I used every bit of my artistic ability . I love feeling creative in my own little way.

This is one of my favorite, Jon has always said he wanted to ride a dinosaur.

I think alot of people don't do anything unless they can do it WELL. You can have hobbies without being an expert in them. I do alittle knitting, alittle sewing, alittle painting, alittle crocheting, alittle gardening, and it all brings me enjoyment.

........enjoy the simple pleasures, you don't have to be perfect..........

  1. Oh, what lucky grandchildren you have-to have a grandma that does such special things. Very fun and creative!

  2. Dear Linda, Please check my comment on the bottom of my current posting to read where I am writing this. HAD to write you because you sounded worn out. Time to read Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. YOU NEED IT.

  5. Oh, I love "Gift from the Sea"! I read it years ago when my kids were little. She was definitely a very wise and gifted author. Moms out there? Read it! You'll be so glad you did. It's one that you'll want to savor.

  6. What a treasure! You are right! People shouldn't always worry about doing something well, but doing things with love!

  7. Linda, you're very talented. I love the cards that you've created and I'm sure your grandchildren do to.

  8. That is so heart warming that you would take the time and make those wonderful cards! God Bless you!
