Rosemary & Thyme

Watched one of my favorite detective shows today, actually more than one! Rosemary & Thyme takes place in England. One is a gardner the other a horticulturest  so  you'll see some of the most beautiful gardens and be involved in some sort of murder. They'll make you laugh. Was so sorry they stopped after the third season. They just don't make good clean murder shows any more. You know...Miss Marple, Pirot....

  1. This was a female version of Midsomer Murders. The sun always shone, the locations were always perfect, and they always caught the murderer. What could be better.

Margaret Rutherford was the best Marple by far!

  2. I like midsomer murders too but, I guess I relate more to the girls. When I'd watch midsomer murders Jim would always say," whats the body count up too now", remember they usually ended up with two, three, murders!

  3. If you don't join netflix soon and check out the #1 ladies detective series, we are going to copy them for you and just make you watch them, because they are that good! Hope you had a good Sunday.

  5. A favourite programme of mine too, Linda. I used to love watching Felicity Kendal in 'The Goode Life' and the other one as 'Ma Larkin' in 'Darling Buds of May'. Her name is on the tip of my tongue but I can't just think of it - will probably remember as soon as I press the post button. Sad when you get old isn't it :>)
