a breath of fresh air

It was lovely to take a deep breath of fresh air! Take nothing for granted. Made it home safe and sound, tried so hard to sleep but here I am at 6:30 still awake. My granddaughter Autumn and I met in the kitchen at 1a.m. and had a nice little talk while I had a snack. She had a birthday while I was gone and is now a beautiful 12. (Me thinks she enjoyed having her room to herself while Rachel was gone.) Britton also had a birthday and is now 6. She is loving her home schooling school, but then who wouldn't love taking a "Cupcake" class! They do offer some great classes, besides the basics. Britton is fun to talk to on the phone now and I love hearing about whats going on in her life.
Thanks for all your sweet comments while I was gone, I was reading over them tonight.
As soon as I'm able to load my pictures on I'll show you some more of our trip. Sarah posted a few pictures we were able to send on the ipod touch but we had so much more.......
I might not have slept tonight but, I did love laying in my bed, there's just nothing like your own bed!

  1. Welcome back! I drove past your town on the weekend and said a prayer for you. One of these days we'll have to get together for a cup of tea down there!
