Galloping Gertie

Galloping Gertie was a name given to the Tacoma Narrows bridge after it collapsed in the 1940's.Isn't that the most incredible thing you've ever seen! Wow! And now I go over the same bridge quite often to visit my daughter. Until two years ago it was still a two laned little bridge that gave me the bejebbers to go over. Two years ago they added another two lanes so it feels quite safe now.
