life throws us a curve ball....
We've kinda been sitting around this week waiting on a biopsy report. My daughter has a fast growing tumor on her left breast. The breast will have to be removed whether or not it's cancerous. The oncologist said today its a common cancer in young women her age. She also has a spot on her lung they want to check out.So, she'll have a pet scan next week. They inject a glucose into the body and it will attach itself to any cancer and glow. So, now the waiting game. Its the worst. She's so hoping she won't have to do chemo, and of course that is our hope also. You can imagine the things darting in and out of our minds, trying to let it sink in but not to far. Thinking of the things I'd like to do differently then when our son went through this. I'm appointing myself Becky's caretaker . Of course it'll be alittle easier because she's a girl and she's not 18. Our son wanted to be as in charge as he could, and we allowed him that control as much as...
What a beautiful family - those smiles!
