harvest

Blueberries, blackberries, currants, oh my, oh my! Yes, we've had lots of pies but, still haven't made any jam. I'll have Becky's children this week-end , I think its time for some slave labor!
Becky's going in to have the biggest tumors on her left lung burned. It's called RFA. She'll have to spend the night but shouldn't have any down time except he said she'll feel like she got socked in the chest. Then next week she starts the second two week round of chemo. A week later they'll do scans and see what's going on.
I got some cleaning and organizing done yesterday...you can see all my dining room floor for the first time in many months. It's very quite with Rachel and the children gone, which isn't such a bad thing. Another beautiful day today, defiantly a feel of autumn in the air.

  1. Isn't this the best thing about being a grand-parent? Kids come and go. When you're feeling deprived you ask them over. When you've had enough you just send them back.

Blackberries here. Lady M and I go out almost every day to get a load. I make bramble Jelly; Lady M makes crumbles. Wonderful.

Very best wishes to Becky. Bisou, Cro.
