change

don't you just hate it when you spend all this time writing a blog post and through no fault of your own....it disappears and doesn't save it! arggg
It's like having to tell a story over that you just told someone!

So.......I was talking about change. I have a love, hate relationship with change.(please tell me I'm not the only one!) Love when it's fun , exciting change, hate when it's hard, painful change. I'm pretty sure it's the same for everyone!  I've chosen at different times in my life to make changes that  made me a better person and ...........happier person.  Then there's those changes that happen and we can do nothing about them but muck through them, with as much grace as possible. Some changes we deal with quietly and others with a great deal of quacking and squawking !  I'm afraid I've been doing more of the later lately.  I make a very poor patient. I'm actually a very impatient patient! Good or bad  I like to keep score of the things I'm able to accomplish in a day (some days more than others.) Fortunately this will change hopefully sooner than later!
Here's too change! May we always have it.

  1. Quacking and squaking - that's me. I remember that person I used to be that embraced new things, now, to some extent, I fear them.

  2. No, I don't like too much change. It's a fine line between being an 'old-stick-in-the-mud' or having found harmony. One spends a lifetime creating that harmony, and woe betide anyone who tries to alter it!

  3. If squawking and quacking help you get through big change, then I'd be the last one to say 'stop'. Put a little tune to the squawks and quacks and you've got a song!

  4. Not to fear...change is the one thing that never changes and always is. Embrace it. Patience? Well that's another matter altogether. I've never had much and it seems to be slip sliding away on a daily basis.
