Starfish Day #3
I am stalking the grumpiest Nannie and helping all I can with her children. I know first hand how hard it is to watch little ones but come on. I spent some one on one time with Bella today.Shes 18 months and paralyzed. from the waste down from spina bifida. She sits quietly in a high chair most of the time. You know the saying "The squeaky wheel gets the grease ". Well its true with kids too. I always go with the under dog
Yesterday one of the volunteers showed us how to take the bus to WalMart.Their. food section is awesome, Chinese everything. We bought Rachel a birthday cake at a bakery next door and sang to her last night the cake was WONDERFUL!

I'm sure that you're making a difference for every child you care for. Don't let the grumpy Nannie get you down!
ReplyDeleteNannies need to learn, just like the rest of us. Be a good teacher... that's the essential.
ReplyDeleteLinda I think that you are the blessing and maybe Nannie is the lesson. Happy birthday to Rachel. I'm sure there will be a piece of cake each for those dear little children
