I went over the mountains for a family get together this week-end.Coming home I chose a different pass to come over then I usually do since
the traffic was stop and go on Snoqualamie Pass.
I got to go through the cute town of Leavenworth. Years ago this little
town was floundering and they came up with an idea
to turn it into a Bavarian town (since it was in the middle of its
own alps). Well, it saved the town and now it is a popular
destination of many. I was again in awe of the beauty that surrounds
our place of residence.

  3. Towns around us have been forced to reinvent themselves to stay viable and attract businesses and people.

What a beautiful job your Leavenworth did and what a beautiful backdrop it has with the mountains. Great idea!
