fall days

love fall days. I try to feel grateful everyday but for some reason  the time around the coming holidays leave me feeling extra grateful for my many blessings. My friend Cassie across the street goes to church with us . She shared with me what her primary teacher gave her. A roll of lifesavers. But, with the candy came a challenge. The whole time your sucking on that life-savor you are to say a thank-you prayer. Asking for nothing, just thanking.
I'll share with you one thing I'm very grateful for today.....A wonderful man that married me 38yrs. ago, who at that time had no clue what a wild ride we would go on! We've had hard times and good times. Now we just look at each other and say "Aren't we glad we stuck it out". Were very different from each other(which is probley a good thing). I enable him with all his many hobbies and he's patient with my foibles. The most important thing is we agree on all the big things.  I'm so thank-ful such a good man is mine!

we are all a little weird and Life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love" Dr. Seuss
