day four

good morning! I was going to try to get to temple square by 9 for the" spoken word" but obviously that didn't happen.I know I need to get out of my room since I'v spent most of the morning crying over all my daughters blogs. So my next goal is to get to temple square, take the tour and fill the spirit that pervades there. At 5:00 in the tabernacle is an multi- cultureal event with singing,spoken work from many different faiths including lds.


I have this weird thing going on with my head that started yesterday and I'v had it in the past for short periods of time. Its like its fuzzy and then I get these electrical shocks(the only way I can describe it) once in a while.Its a horrible feeling as not painful just really annoying.I looked on the internet and people described the same feeling an all linked it to sinus stuff..which really isn't bothering me. The talked about sudafed helping ( see you guys sudafed does help everything! I'm always aqused(sp?) of handing out sudafed for everything..even cancer).I took some of my allergy med. but can't notice a difference. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that?


Well, it'd probley be good if I got dressed , if I'm going out. Sure wouldn't want to scare anyone. Oh, and Lia in response to your comment on my blog yesterday....(I'm laughing as I write this) yea daddy and I don't do much dancing but its always nice to to think we do. ...............(we have been known to slow dance)
....Its kinda sad I havn't taken daddy up on it , because he said he'd take any dance class with me. I do love to polka!

    Hi Linda:

    The "shocks" you are feeling, might be from your neck. The shocks I felt shocked me up into the tip-top of my head, and only lasted a split-second. These were from pinched nerves in my neck. I'm doing massages twice a week now, since the trip to Texas for the funeral. Too many long days and nights in different beds with different pillows, and long plane flights. Poor neck!

    I'm so happy that you are having a little time to yourself. I'm sure the wedding will be only ONE highlight of your trip. Today (Sunday) would have been Brad's 27th birthday. Steve asked me if I wanted to go to a movie, and I said that was a great idea. A little "date", I guess. So we went to Marysville to see "Taken". It was quite intense, and very fast-moving (never boring!).

    Hope you get a chance to do one Temple session. If you do, would you please turn in all our names to the prayer list.

 I've always had a bird feeder, for years now. They bring alot of joy to me, nature so up close and personal. Now that we don't have any pets, we've loved having our bird feeders up again. We have this one tree out back and we have a little of everything for them. A little bird bath, three feeders and a suet feeder. There's usually ten to twenty birds in the tree at all times. Lots of beautiful finches, lots of yard birds, lots of black birds (who are quite noisy) red wing black birds and yellow headed black birds. We finally identified one that we couldn't figure out and its a Evening Grosbeak. Some come and we never see them again, just passing through. But, it's our little obsession right now, gives me something to do every morning. But, dang those birds are eating us out of house and home!

oh honey you shouldn't have

 chop, chop, chop were the sounds I woke up too yesterday. I've been hearing those sounds alot these last few weeks as my manly man has made hot sauce and salsa galore. But..............this morning it was different. I woke up to a beautiful bowl of tabbouleh...my favorite salad. The combination of the bulgar, parsley, cucumber and tomatoes just tickles my palet. My favorite part this time of the year are the pomegranate seeds, they add such color and flavor.(I really shouldn't be eating it but I chewed extra well ummm) Oooops a jar of grape juice just broke, manly man is canning....be right back. O.K. that's cleaned up and I'm heading out for a long overdue walk. It's a lovely day, blue skies and sun.

all is well

My daughter Becky should be home from the hospital soon, her surgery went well. Next the mourning for what was and will never be again, she had a lot of good cries last night. They weighed the breast and it was seven and a half pounds! I knew it was close to ten. Like she said jokingly she was looking forward to getting "alot off her chest". When I talked to her on the phone this morning I asked her how in the world did she ever get anything done with a two year old and 5mon. old! I did manage to get us all clean and fed by eleven. Is that good? And to think I raised six! Todays is Becky's Abbie's birthday, we hope to go to the movies this afternoon. I guess on the way home from the hospital they are picking up a new kitty for the children. They had promised them one when they moved in to their house, so how wonderful of them to realize what a good time it would be to bring one home.
